These Octopus are Aliens!
So, it turns out that Octopus are likely to be aliens, that either randomly showed up here as frozen eggs on an astroid, or possibly, might have arrived by spaceship …. & just decided to stay.
In
fact, some scientist are claiming that new research suggest Octopus
are actually 'aliens' which evolved on an entirely different planet,
before arriving on Earth hundreds of millions of years ago.
The extraordinary claims were made in a report entitled “Cause of Cambrian Explosion – Terrestrial or Cosmic? “which was co-authored by 33 scientists and published in the 'Progress in Biophysics and Molecular Biology' journal.
The paper suggests that all life on earth may have come from some divine, heavenly (& alien) exposure to organic materials in a cosmic wind (or maybe even spaceships)
The
explanation for the sudden flourishing of life during the Cambrian
era, often referred to as the Cambrian Explosion, 520 million years
ago, lies in the stars, as a result of the Earth being bombarded by
clouds of these organic molecules. (or maybe spaceships)
The
scientists go on to make an even more extraordinary claim concerning
octopuses, which seem to have evolved on Earth quite rapidly 270
million years ago, 250 million years after the Cambrian explosion.
They speculate that Octopi arrived on earth as
“cryopreserved” eggs via a process known as panspermia, where
they were frozen, broken off another celestial body, then traveled to
& landed on Earth.
Thousands of meteors hit Earth every year. The deep scarred canyon valley on Mars suggest a giant impact millions of years ago that was sure to scatter debree all over the solar system & would have cause the extinction of any possible life on Mars.
Another possibility of course, that the scientist arent talking about, is that they could have landed in spaceships hundreds of millions of years ago. Thats probably more likely that them being frozen as eggs & thrown across space.
The rapid
introduction of there highly sophisticated & evolved genetic
properties, is interesting evidence to scientist.
“The genome of the Octopus shows a staggering level of complexity
with 33,000 protein-coding genes more than is present in Homo
sapiens.
“Its
large brain and sophisticated nervous system, camera-like eyes,
flexible bodies, instantaneous camouflage via the ability to switch
colour and shape are just a few of the striking features that appear
suddenly in our evolutionary history.
“The
transformative genes leading from the consensus ancestral Nautilus to
the common Cuttlefish to Squid to the common are not easily to be
found in any pre-existing life form – it is plausible then to
suggest they seem to be borrowed from a far distant “future” in
terms of terrestrial evolution, or more realistically from the cosmos
at large.
“One
plausible explanation, in our view, is that the new genes are likely
new extraterrestrial imports to Earth - most plausibly as an already
coherent group of functioning genes within (say) cryopreserved and
matrix protected fertilized Octopus eggs.
“Thus
the possibility that cryopreserved Squid and/or Octopus eggs, arrived
in icy bodies several hundred million years ago, should not be
discounted as that would be a parsimonious cosmic explanation for the
Octopus' sudden emergence on Earth circa 270 million years ago.”
or spaceships, right?
In the 1898 sci-fi classic Martians in War of The Worlds, HG Wells conceived Martians as octopus-like creatures with massive brains. The 2016 film Arrival is about first contact with an alien cephalopod race.
Each of these films depict octopuses as aliens (with spaceships). Is that really just coincidence?
Cephalopods,
especially octopuses, are regarded as the most intelligent of all
non-vertebrates, with the highest brain-to-body ratio.
One
study has suggested they are capable of observational learning, by
observing others.
They
have even been spotted assembling discarded coconut shells and using
them to construct shelter (or
possibly spaceships),
So, unless we find the actual original landing craft, well probably never really know how they got here, but thanks to the scientist we do know that all their complex DNA seemed to arrive about 270 million years ago.
